Paul Polain - PADI Divemaster
I am a PADI Divemaster and love to share my experiences and the joy of diving with others, as my friends and work colleagues would no doubt tell you!
I have dived in number of different places including the Red Sea (Egypt), Caribbean (Mexico & Dominican Republic), Mediterranean (Balerics), the Atlantic (Canaries and Portugal) and around the UK (inland lakes, Scotland, the North Sea, the South Coast and Cornwall). I enjoy wrecks and places with great topography but the myriad of life you can find in sea is what fascinates me the most.
My favourite dives include seeing Oceanic Whitetips and Hammerheads at the Brothers and Daedalus in Egypt and the amazingly beautiful cenotes in Mexico, but UK diving is special and I love diving with the seals in Northumberland, exploring wrecks and reefs on the south coast and seeing large conger eels, octopus, cuttlefish and my personal favourite spider crabs.
I have had some thoroughly enjoyable times diving with Divemania, who have a great team, and the diving community in general is made up of really helpful, inclusive and friendly people, which makes diving a real pleasure and never dull!
