From 2015 my passion for scuba diving started. My wife and I had planned a holiday to Egypt and we had never done any scuba diving only snorkelling. I have always been amazed watching scuba divers underneath me whilst I was on the surface snorkelling.

 

We first decided to do a Discover Scuba Diving with DiveMania Scuba prior to going on holiday to see if we would enjoy it, once we finished it we couldn't wait to go on holiday and let the scuba diving adventure begin!

 

Once we got out to Egypt we started our PADI Open Water Course, the aquatic life and coral we see were incredible. We enjoyed it so much we immediately booked our PADI Advanced Open Water because we knew we would pursue scuba diving as we had already become addicted.

 

Once we come back to the UK we got back in contact with DiveMania and told them of our amazing experience and how we wanted to progress with them and start diving in the UK. They were very accommodating and explained all the courses available and what every course entailed.

 

We have now completed many specialty courses and PADI Rescue Course on route to becoming Master Scuba Divers, followed by the first step on the Professional Ladder and main achievement so far - PADI Divemaster.

 

I have gained most of my experience and confidence diving in the UK, I have dived many places around the UK but my favourite would be the Farne Islands which gives you an amazing opportunity to dive with seals.

 

My most favourite place to dive so far is The Red Sea in Egypt. This is a beautiful and spectacular place. I've spent many holidays here and had some incredible encounters with dolphins, turtles and with many different species of shark including hammerheads and oceanic white tips. I am currently on my way to become a Discover Scuba Diving Leader that will allow me to teach Discover Scuba Diving.

 

I cannot wait to progress to help other people find out how amazing scuba diving really is!
