Martin Betts - PADI IDC Staff Instructor, PADI Specialty Instructor and EFR Instructor.
I am a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. I am a regular keen diver and have been diving since 2001 and want to share my passion and enthusiasm for diving with others with the aim to bring more people into the sport of recreational diving.
I am also a Specialty Instructor and can teach a wide range of courses from Deep Diver to Zombie Apocalypse Diver!
I have dived in various places around the world including amongst others the Red Sea (Egypt), Caribbean (Mexico, St Lucia, Dominican Republic), Indian Ocean (Maldives), Mediterranean (Greece, Malta, Croatia) and around the UK (inland lakes and the South Coast). I love all aspects of diving whether it is wrecks, sea life or coral; in fact if there is a dive to do mine is usually the first name down!
My favourite dive was in the Maldives where I had a close encounter with a Whaleshark. Other famous dive sites dived have been the SS Thistlegorm in the Red Sea, the Santa Rosa wall at Cozumel, the Cenotes in Mexico and various wreck sites in Malta and have places such as the Galapagos, Truk Lagoon and the Great Barrier Reef on my wish list.
